When making switches to non-toxic products it can be overwhelming and GingerGanics wants to make it easy with a balm that does it all. With all-natural shea butter and skin-healing oils wrapped up in a comforting salve this combination is made to soothe and repair damaged skin of all sorts. We all feel a little damaged sometimes.
We really value ingredients at GingerGanics. This Healing Balm is unscented which makes it perfect for the most sensitive skin. Not only will this soothe your skin, but also your senses. We use only the good sh*t here, none of the bad.
Your healing balm comes in a 2 oz travel-friendly metal tin that is recyclable. We care about protecting the environment we live in too!
Choose from: unscented essential oil-free, or Lavendar Eucalyptus!
- Shea Butter — Used for centuries to heal dry and damaged skin. We use it here to fix your damage whether it is physically, spiritually, or just perceived.
- Jojoba Seed Oil — Has been used to soothe the irritation caused by psoriasis, sunburn, windburn chapped skin, and acne.
- Sunflower Seed Oil — Contains anti-inflammatory properties that help ease redness. High in omega-6 (linoleic) fatty acid which helps decrease skin inflammation and aids in the development of new skin cells.
- Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil — Contains oleic acid which is highly moisturizing and anti-inflammatory and palmitoleic acid which aids in repairing skin cells
- Beeswax — (Cera Alba) An all-natural wax produced from honey bees and carefully extracted from the honeycomb. Research has shown beeswax to be helpful for several common fungal skin infections like ringworm. Oddly enough, it has also shown to be helpful to decrease inflammation and irritation for a bunch of butt stuff, including hemorrhoids, diaper rash, and anal fissures. Blessed by the bees, good for booties.
- Candelilla Wax — a soft plant-based wax derived from the Candelilla plant. Considered vegan, and has great skin-healing benefits.
-
Cetyl Alcohol — a skin-friendly gentle fatty alcohol used as an emollient.
What you will NOT find in GingerGanics products:
The ingredients below are taken directly from many of the top selling skin balms and ointments (I have left out their names to protect their identity mainly so I don’t get sued of course).
- Petrolatum — the horrific planet polluter byproduct of petrol. Both Petrolatum and Mineral Oil are by products of petroleum refining. If the refining process were controlled, and contaminants were not a possibility, there would be no known side effects, according to safecosmetics.org. The problem is there is no way to know how the refinement process is conducted, leaving possibilities of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, or PAHs -- which are known cancer causing carcinogens. No thanks. Not in here. Not today satan.
- Mineral Oil — See “petrolatum” above.
- Parabens — These are a class of commonly used preservatives. The problem with parabens is that studies have suggested that long-chain parabens are hormone disruptors in the body, which can lead to hormone production disorders, birth disorders, and cancer. Parabens are highly effective against bacterial growth and are therefore widely used in cosmetics, personal care and even food. Due to this constant exposure on a mass scale, parabens have been detected in every human urine sample according to Environmental Health Perspectives. The EU has banned multiple parabens in products, and several south Asian countries as well. The U.S. FDA has not banned parabens.
-
Lanolin — Lanolin oil can be great to help retain moisture in skin. It is also known for irritating sensitive skin types, and causing allergic reactions. It is an oily (sebum-like) secretion from sheep skin to condition their wool, and as such is an effective emollient.

Yes ma'am this was actually a gift for my mom and she seems to love it I live 100s of miles away from her so I try to do little things like this to make her smile I have the fix your shit that my mother in law your aunt Charlene Watkins I believe gave to me and it's amazing
I am LOVING this 2oz size. Especially because I need every scent so now I can have them all without wasting any product. Perfect for travel & on-the-go, and I literally cannot with the iridescent label on this one. Obsessed. If your skin is stubborn or if you live in a dry climate like me, Fix Your Sh*t is an absolute MUST. This is your sign from the Universe to give it a try. You will not regret it!
This sh*t really will fix your sh*t. In Utah the summers are DRY I’ve started using this at night on extra dry spots (knuckles, nose, etc.) and ever since starting this I always wake up feeling moisturized. Highly recommend!
I have used Fix Your Sh*t for a variety of things and am always impressed! My son and myself (both gingers) have sensitive skin and this is the first thing we reach for. I also have two little girls (blonde & brunette) that also love this product!
Just a few ways we use it at our house:
eczema flare ups for him, chapped lips, rug burns (#kids), dry skin, wind burn, and it's always something I grab if they say they have a "boo-boo". I LOVE knowing what I'm putting on our skin is safe. Must have for this momma!
